Merchants in the area took the reins in the development of what became modern Glasgow, one of the first cities in Europe with a gridded city plan.

In this board game, players travel around the city to collect resources, perform special actions and, most importantly, construct buildings. Build a factory and you will receive more goods from it when other buildings are constructed in the right areas in relation to it; build a train station, and you may or may not get points depending on what you build; build a monument and you will simply accumulate a lot of points, because in the end, points are what matters!

The first building is placed anywhere in the middle of the game, then each subsequent building is placed adjacent to something already built, and the buildings eventually fill a four-by-four grid of the players' own creation. As soon as the sixteenth building is erected, the game ends and players get points for what they built. Who has contributed the most to the current state of Glasgow?
