In Black Sonata, you will immerse yourself in Shakespeare's London, circa 1600, where you will pursue the enigmatic lady. Will you finally solve the greatest mystery in English literature, or will the dark lady escape you as well?
The game consists of a map of London, marked with locations and symbols, clue cards, stealth cards, location clues and fog cards. There is also a pawn to represent the player's location.
We choose one of the queen cards at random: that will be the dark queen. The remaining cards become a deck of clue cards. You must go around London looking for clues. To win you must move to the location of the dark lady having discovered the three characteristics that define her.
Black Sonata is a board game, solitaire, combining hidden movement and logical deduction, immersed in a literary background.
