Lead one of these dynasties, colonize the most remote kingdoms of the empire, expand your commercial network and please the ancient gods to win their favor. If you plan your strategy properly, you will be able to develop your dynasty and make it the most powerful in the Roman Empire.
Concordia is one of the best economic development board games for two to five players set in Roman times. The game does not leave much room for luck, so instead of relying on a good roll of the dice or drawing the right card, players must bet on their planning ability to develop the ideal strategy that will lead them to victory. Without forgetting, of course, to observe and intuit the next moves of their rivals to ensure that they do not achieve their objectives while completing their own.
In the game, colonists are sent from Rome to settle in cities that produce bricks, food, tools, wine, and cloth. Each player starts with an identical hand of cards and increases them during the game. Each game is different, not only because of the new sequences of cards for sale, but also because of the modular layout of the cities. When all cards have been sold, the game ends and victory points are counted. The player with the most points wins.
