You may have to discard certain cards before you can move to a specific type of terrain or be affected by a demon, specifically a demon card that does nothing but frustrate you or turn you into half a coin every time you see it. Why go to a demon tile if bad things will happen? Moving to that space doesn't cost a card, but also some demon spaces have tunnels that allow you to move faster.
is that movement worth the punishment you might suffer? The expansion includes two blockades that carry a demon symbol, and if you are the first to break that blockade in your quest across the map, you must suffer the curse of that blockade.
This expansion includes new cave tokens that will mix in with those from the base game, as well as four new expedition card types (with three copies of each) that can be entered into the market once the slot opens.
