Your goal in this board game is sad, but simple: make your characters suffer as much tragedy as possible before helping them on their journey to the well-deserved rest of death.
Throw on your own characters cards with terrible misfortunes such as "He was hunted by poodles" or "He was ripped off by shopkeepers", while trying to cheer up your opponents' characters with happy events. Transparent cards reveal or hide the effects of the other cards beneath them; in the end, the results shown across all cards will determine your score - may the most miserable win!
