In Great Western Trail (Second Edition), you will start the game with a deck of low-value cattle cards and, every time you reach Kansas, you will have to sell them. But be careful, only those cattle cards of different species will serve to determine the total value of your merchandise; the higher value it reaches in the market, the more and better cities will be willing to acquire it, and the more money and victory points you will receive. This is an exciting management board game in which you will find a multitude of options to get victory points. Focus on constructing buildings, accumulating lots of livestock, hiring lots of staff, developing your transport capacity to the maximum, or play balanced by trying to score points in every possible way - the possibilities are endless!
What's new in the second edition:
- Completely revamped game art
- Includes solo game mode with different levels of difficulty
- Additional Variant: Includes the Simmental variant, with which players will be able to purchase lower value calves, which will increase in breeding value as they reach Kansas City during the game.
