Created by Richard Garfield, the author of the acclaimed Magic The Gathering card game, King of Tokyo challenges players to take on the role of mutant monsters, giant robots or fierce aliens in a savage battle to dominate the capital of Japan.
The games, in which between 2 and 6 people can participate, are fast and frantic, lasting just 30 minutes. Choose your best strategy, roll the dice, defeat all your enemies, earn fame points and become the one and only undisputed great king of Tokyo.
how to start sowing chaos? King of Tokyo has an innovative dice-rolling mechanic: we will have to roll three times in our turn and choose the ones we keep to get the best possible roll. We must roll six dice with four types of symbols: if you roll three times the same result in the number symbols (1, 2 or 3), that will be the amount of victory points you get, and for each additional result of the same number you will get another victory point. Each symbol grants different abilities that will help us, either to get 20 victory points, or to defeat the rest of the monsters.
