Designed by Thomas Sing, this cooperative trick-taking game allows for games with groups of 2 to 5 players, ages 10 and up, with a duration of about 20 minutes.

With easy-to-understand and explain rules and very quick setup, you'll be playing in no time. The box includes on one side a deck of 40 cards, numbered from 1 to 9, in four different colors plus four submarine cards, numbered from 1 to 4, which act as wild cards with the highest value; on the other side, a deck of mission cards, which indicate a score based on the number of players. Depending on the difficulty of each adventure, it will be necessary to complete more or fewer missions.

At the beginning of the game, all the colored cards and submarines are dealt among the players. Whoever receives the submarine with a value of 4 must announce it, as they will be named the captain, but the rest of the cards must be kept secret. Then the missions are dealt face up among the players, indicating an objective to be achieved at the end of the game. From achieving a certain number of tricks or cards in total to winning with specific numbers or colors. If everyone manages to fulfill their objective, the adventure will be a success and the campaign can continue.

However, in the unfathomable depths of the ocean, communication between players will be limited. As a team, you must cooperate to ensure the success of each mission. Players will have a communication token at their disposal, which they can use once per turn to inform the rest of the team about a certain detail of their hand of cards. This way, strategies can be planned so that each player wins the tricks corresponding to their mission card.

With different levels of difficulty, the adventures of The Crew 2: Mission Deep Sea adapt to different gaming groups. How far you can go to discover the legendary ruins of Mu will depend on how well you work as a team, being aware of your hand and that of your teammates. It's not about winning tricks like crazy, but about carefully negotiating when it's necessary to win and when to let someone else win.
