On November 30, 1803, the United States purchased Louisiana from Napoleon for $15 million. Thomas Jefferson decided to send the adventurers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to explore that vast unknown territory. The Lewis and Clark expedition (1804-1806) was the first American expedition to traverse the United States from east to west to the Pacific coast. Lewis & Clark includes a dual use for the charts. To be activated, two cards must be combined, leaving one of them disabled for a time, so players are constantly faced with the dilemma of playing the card or sacrificing it to activate another. During the game, each player will expand his hand with new character cards, building a crew that will give him more options but which he will have to optimize so that the expedition does not suffer delays.
