In the board game Lords of Waterdeep players assume the role of powerful lords with the aim of gaining control of this immense city. Its treasures and resources are coveted and what cannot be acquired through deception and negotiation, must be taken by force!
A strategy game where players assume the role of one of the masked lords of Waterdeep, the secret rulers of the city. Through their agents, they hire adventurers to go on quests on their behalf, win prizes and increase their influence over the city.
Expanding the city, by buying new buildings, opens the possibility of new actions on the board; don't forget to prevent (or help) the other lords by playing cards of intrigue... At the end of eight rounds, the player who has accumulated the most points wins the game.
