A zombie plague is spreading throughout the universe. Not even the powerful superheroes are immune to its effects, and they are becoming infected more and more. It is up to Professor Charles Xavier's best students, the X-Men, to stop the advance of the undead and put an end to the carnage once and for all.

In Marvel Zombies - A Zombicide Game: X-Men Resistance, the tables turn as players take on the role of the X-Men, mutant superheroes trying to stop the zombie plague. This expansion introduces the Hero Mode. While in the base game Marvel Zombies players try to spread the zombie disease, here they take on the role of more traditional Zombicide Survivors, fighting against the undead onslaught.
