Dunhuang is an important transit point on the great silk road. Caravans loaded with spices, silk, jewels and gold pass through the city, a city that never sleeps. In the midst of this organized chaos, rich and powerful merchants are gathering supplies and goods to sell and increase their influence.
You are one of them. With the help of the local population of Dunhuang, you will try to become the most prestigious merchant in the city. But you are not alone in this business...
Be the first player to get four majority tiles in your store (in front of you) and four different goods in your hand, or be the player with the most points at the end of the game. You will have to move intelligently through the Dunhuang market, making use of the skills of the different characters you will find there. Keep your gold well, it is a valuable resource that will open many doors for you.
Each turn you will have to face the difficult decision of keeping your goods in your hand to score them at the end of the game or leave them in your store to win the majority. This difficult balance is the key to the game, since the goods in your hand can give you a lot of points but if you don't control your opponents, maybe one of them can trigger the end of the game early fulfilling the victory condition.
With sixteen different characters that are randomly placed, each game will have a different combination of skills that will make us to adapt our strategy to it.
