At the beginning of this epilogue, an unspecified amount of time has passed since the events that occurred in the base game of Nemesis. Players use Characters (who have not participated in the base game) who enter the Nemesis to investigate.

The ship has many scars from their past tribulations, so any leftovers from their previous game will have effects on their Epilogue game.

Every spaceship has a voice; a melody of machinery and subsystems that your crew learns intimately during long voyages. The problem is, since the last mission, our ship sounds "wrong". There's something sickening about the way it speaks to us. Barely audible mumbles. Strange whispers that no machine could make. The dark corridors and vast hallways almost seem to sing. Some of us have tried to locate the sources of these interferences, but they always seemed to be two steps ahead.

Stalked by their endless presence, we soon began to crack. Our engineer cut a few words in the flesh. When we asked him why, he replied, "Incandescent secrets must be written in blood." Then our navigator went out for a spacewalk without her suit. When we stopped her, her whole frozen, cracked face smiled in a way I'll never forget. Now, it got even worse.

The noises became voices, sharing stories of slaughter and terror. They no longer run away from us. They surround us and lead us through the ship to some dark purpose. I need to understand them before it's too late. I put my hand on the pistol grip, looking at the backs of my last two crew members. I see dark mysteries swirling beneath their skulls. It would only take two bullet holes to set them free.....
