This expansion introduces new elements such as Evolution cards and Character cards, which grant special abilities to the Creature and Prey, as well as the new Sanctuary board that offers Prey a new path to victory. The expansion adds a few new elements to the base game, such as the Sanctuary location that becomes more powerful the more you visit it, but also requires more effort to reach, while the creature also gains the ability to mutate.
