You are the leader of a respected but unfortunate family in Victorian England. After several decades of austerity, the family fortune is slowly recovering. Your goal is to renovate a neglected estate, restore the family's tarnished reputation, and improve the marriage prospects of your eligible children, in order to secure a connection with the wealthy and influential Fairchild family.

During the game, you will need to make your estate more attractive, expand your social connections, gain a high reputation in the county, have numerous and educated household staff, and even try to successfully court one of the Fairchilds!
