Empires have risen and fallen in the aftermath of the Great War, and Europe is on the brink of a new era. The economy is robust, and the defenses are powerful. Sightings of strange soldiers with glowing eyes have been reported from the camps, but they seem distant and harmless.... Scythe The Rise of Fenris, the conclusion to the trilogy of expansions for the Scythe board game, consists of two game modes: a campaign (eight games) that includes surprises, unlockable components and persistent elements, fully resettable and replayable; and a modular one (eleven modules) that can be combined in various ways to cater to players' preferences. These modules are compatible with all previous expansions, and include a fully cooperative module. The exact nature of the episodes and modules is partly a mystery (so as not to give away unlockable content, as most of the components are contained in five locked boxes and six die-cuts), but this expansion includes a detailed episode manual.
