You will manage a troglodyte tribe and you will have to get raw materials to build and keep it fed. With improved components and two mini-expansions, The Wild Animals and The Igloos.
In Stone Age, players live in this era, just like our ancestors. They gather wood, break stones and wash gold from the river. They trade freely, expand their village and thus reach new levels of civilization.
With a balance of luck and planning, players compete for food in this prehistoric era. Players use up to ten tribesmen each in three phases. In the first phase, players place their men in regions of the board that they believe will benefit them, including hunting, trading post or quarry. In the second phase, the initial player activates each of his areas with personnel in the sequence he chooses, followed in turn by the other players. In the third phase, players must have enough food available to feed their populations, or face loss of resources or points.
