Players will be eliminated if they receive 2 artifacts of their doom, but can win the magical masquerade if they can collect 3 artifacts of their favor.

The Beast loves to watch characters try to eliminate each other. Each player will draw 2 artifacts, keep one and give 1 to any player on the ball. This reveals a lot of information about both players. Why did you keep that artifact? Oh, excuse me, Snow White, I see you have 2 mirrors, does that exclude you as the Evil Queen?

Handing out 2 artifacts also triggers special actions, timing them right has great benefits!
