Each player tries to get as many points as possible by winning or finishing in second place in the races between the Segments of Route 66, "The Mother Road," from Chicago to Santa Monica.
To do this, you roll 4 dice and form 2 pairs that determine the Segments in which you can race during your current turn.
On each turn, you can roll the dice as many times as you want, as long as you can enter or move at least 1 of your Cars. If, after rolling the dice, you cannot enter or move at least 1 of your Cars, your turn ends and you lose everything you would have achieved in that turn. You should have stopped in time... but you didn't. Everyone wants to race along Route 66 just one more time... and then maybe just one more time...
