In White Castle, you must wisely manage the gardeners, warriors, and courtiers of your clan to score the maximum number of points possible. Seek the favor of the Daimyo, manage your resources, and optimize your actions to dominate the most imposing fortress of modern Japan.

The authors are Sheila Santos and Israel Cendrero, the duo known as Llama Dice who also designed the successful The Red Cathedral with Devir. In this case, we leave behind Ivan the Terrible's Moscow to explore the most imposing fortress of modern Japan, Himeji Castle, where the Sakai clan's banner waves under the orders of Daimyo Sakai Tadakiyo.

White Castle is a Euro-style game with resource management, worker placement, and dice placement mechanics to carry out actions. During the game, over three rounds, players will send members of their clan to tend to the gardens, defend the castle, or rise in the social scale of the nobility. At the end of the game, these will grant players victory points in various ways.
