Unmatched is a highly asymmetrical board game with miniatures and cards in which each player assumes the role of a mythical character in an impossible confrontation.
Unmatched: Robin Hood VS Bigfoot is the first self-playing expansion for Unmatched. It pits these two characters from mythology and literature against each other using the system already included in the basic Battle of Legends Volume 1 box. Robin Hood, the famous Nottingham outlaw, is an expert with the bow and ranged attacks and is supported by four of his gang to defeat his opponents. Bigfoot arrives on the battlefield accompanied by his trusty Jackalope, rampaging through the woods to launch swift melee attacks.
Combat is the central element of Unmatched. It is resolved in a very agile way by comparing attack and defense values, but offers great depth thanks to the cards themselves, which can be used in multiple ways. Do I use them to increase movement, or do I prefer to use them to attack? Perhaps it is preferable to reserve them for defense?
Unmatched: Robin Hood VS Bigfoot is set up for two players, is self-playable, and can be combined with any of the other Unmatched boxes in a relentless pursuit of impossible fantasy showdowns.
