Normal Cases

Players compete to empty their hands and catch opposing players with cards in theirs, which earns them points. In turns, players try to play a card by matching its color, number, or word with the top card of the discard pile. If they cannot play, players draw a card from the draw pile and, if they still cannot play, they pass their turn. Wild cards and special cards add some excitement to the game.

UNO is a commercial version of Crazy Eights, a public domain card game played with a standard deck.

This entry includes all themed versions of UNO that do not include new cards.
