Every night, events appear in Jacqueline's dreams before they happen. At first she believed that these dreams were a terrible curse. However, when she began to control her visions and to observe the events more closely, she understood that they were not a curse, but a warning from destiny.
In fact, Jacqueline Fine is able to manipulate Chaos tokens like almost no other investigator - when an investigator in her Place reveals any number of Chaos tokens, she can choose to reveal two additional tokens and cancel two of the revealed tokens!
Obviously, Jacqueline's premonitions are useful in any skill test but in addition, this investigator comes into play with a whole set of new Spells included in this expansion, such as Blue Flame and Clairvoyance.
These Spells are tremendously effective, but if they reveal some of the more beneficial Chaos tokens, there is a price to pay. Fortunately, Jacqueline's ability is very helpful if you want to pass the test while avoiding the consequences.
When you go to buy new cards for Jacqueline's deck with your experience, be sure to check out the Robe of Eternal Night, an important asset to your deck that reduces the cost of Spells you play without provoking attacks of opportunity in doing so. Or, you can play Recharge to quickly add charges to your Spells or Relics, and thus remain active in research even once you have exhausted everything you can summon.
