The Black Forest Campaign is a complete campaign for Adventures in Middle-earth set in the Black Forest over three decades, allowing you to narrate your own epic saga, following your heroes along their quest as the count of the years unfolds before them.
This supplement includes enough adventure material to keep your heroes playing for months, or even years, as well as new rules that will give them a real interest in what is happening in the world around them. Mastery rules will allow them to carve out their own corner of Middle-earth, while new options for the Community Phase and different ventures will allow them to chart their own path.
Additional optional rules will allow your Hero players to weave their backgrounds into the Journey Events. Visit the Parliament of Spiders, stand up to the Nazgûl, meddle in the affairs of the wizards, and visit King Thranduil's Estates. Resist the Shadow firmly and perhaps the darkness over the Black Forest can be averted. One hesitation and all that you know and love will be lost. The Black Forest Campaign contains the adventures previously published as Darkness Over the Black Forest for The One Ring roleplaying game, fully adapted to be compatible with Adventures in Middle-earth and the OGL rules. To take full advantage of The Black Forest campaign you will need the Rhovanion Regional Guide, which contains additional setting and adversary material.
