Take control of one of the tribes of Homo sapiens that expanded across the planet tens of thousands of years ago. Explore, manage resources, settle in new lands, and progress in this completely independent edition of the classic Catan. Designed by Klaus and Benjamin Teuber, 3 or 4 players can participate, from 12 years old, in games that last about 90 minutes.
Those who are already familiar with the mechanics of Catan will learn to play very quickly, as some of the rules are inspired by the original title. For example, to win, players must compete to be the first to accumulate 10 victory points, which can be obtained in different ways. Unlike the original game, in this edition there are no cities, roads, or knights... It will still be thousands of years before they appear!
In Catan: Dawn of Humanity, players will guide their tribe to obtain resources, explore unknown territories, and spread across the planet. Through a board that reproduces a world map divided into the classic hexagonal zones, each tribe starts with three settlements and an explorer in Africa.
