The Ghost Stories board game keeps players on the edge of their seats with the uncertainty of whether their monks will be able to protect a village against the many aspects of Wu-Feng that threaten it. With "Ghost Stories: Black Secret," players will face an even greater dilemma: Wu-Feng himself. In "Ghost Stories: Black Secret," one of the players will assume the role of Wu-Feng, harassing the monks in a more direct way than they have previously experienced. In this way, Wu-Feng now chooses where the incoming ghosts will be placed on the monks' individual boards. Instead of placing the ghost on the board, Wu-Feng can use that ghost to feed spells of the color that matches the color of the ghost or to put new demon miniatures into play that scour the catacombs beneath the village; these figures are in search of Wu-Feng's remains by digging in the earth located there, and should the necessary three icons be found, Wu-Feng's shadow descends upon the village to fight the monks directly. To help the monks in their fight against this most evil incarnation of Wu-Feng, they have access to blood mantras, special abilities that at different levels to adjust the difficulty of the game.
