HeroQuest is a dungeon crawler board game in board format designed by Stephen Baker (of the American company Milton Bradley) and marketed by Milton Bradley and Games Workshop starting in 1989.
It was re-released in 1990 and 1991 but was discontinued during the 1990s. In 1991 it won the Origins Award for best graphic presentation of a wargame.
The HeroQuest board represents the subway corridors of an imaginary dungeon. For the players, the objective of the game consists of going through these corridors and overcoming the difficulties that are encountered and that the game foresees for the occasion (monsters, wizards, etc,...).
