Ikonikus is a fast and fun card game. It forces you to put yourself in other people's shoes. Empathy and emotions play a fundamental role in this incredible game. To prove it, you must discover, through the icons on the cards, how you would feel in different situations that arise during the game.
How do I feel when the alarm clock goes off in the morning? And when I confess my love to the wrong person? And when I receive a board game as a gift? These questions and many more, invented by you, will be the key to playing and having fun with Ikonikus.
How to play Ikonikus:
Shuffle the cards, deal five to each player, and place the rest in a face-down deck. The starting player asks a question starting with: "How would I feel if...?" Real or invented situations can be proposed. The other players choose from their cards the one they think has the most representative icon for that emotion and place it face-down in the center of the table. The player who asked the question flips the cards one by one and interprets the answers in their own way. They choose one of them, the one they believe best represents their emotion in that situation, and the player who chose that card wins it and scores a victory point. Several rounds are played, with the starting player changing each time. The game ends when a player collects three cards and wins. You can use some of the one hundred example questions included in the instructions.
