Ishtar Gardens of Babylon is a board game in which you play the role of a gardener who aims to transform a desolate desert into the hanging gardens of Babylon. To fulfill your mission, you will have to plant flowers, collect gems and buy the most powerful upgrades to make your dream come true.
Placing your flowers will be essential, since, if you place them well, they will help you collect precious gems and activate actions. Whether to buy trees (which will block the link between two flower points, as well as earn you points) or to buy upgrades (like getting two more points for each tree card at the end of the game), collecting gems will be a crucial part of the game.
Get them before your opponents, recruit apprentices, send them to earn points in the flower fields you've created, and block your opponents by thinking carefully about the upgrades you need to purchase if you want to become the best gardener at the end of the game.
