Julius Caesar brings the drama of the Roman Civil War back to life on our gaming table. Players assume control of Caesar's or Pompey's legions, and fight to achieve the title of emperor. Julius Caesar is a card-engine board game that uses tokens or wooden blocks. Cards are needed to move, recruit troops or play an event. Thirteen cities or towns with victory points are illustrated on the board. Take command of Caesar's veteran legions or Pompey's new legions and it is up to you to decide how best to defend or conquer the republic. The variation possibilities are huge, the decision making always agonizing. You can now prove if you have what it takes to become emperor of Rome!
