Sheltered by the Atlas Mountains, shines the Pearl of the South, the imperial city of Marrakesh. As one of its most prominent and influential citizens, you will use your assistants to increase your influence in the Kutubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace. You will take advantage of the wisdom of scholars, collected in valuable scrolls. You will wander through the souks to haggle with merchants for precious luxury items. You will visit the Yamaa el Fna market square, with its water vendors, storytellers, snake charmers, and jugglers. You will find oases in the Sahara and sail along the Tensift River. But above all, do not forget to pay the people and provide them with enough dates and, above all, water!

Created by the legendary and prolific German author Stefan Feld (The Castles of Burgundy, Trajan, Notre Dame), Marrakesh allows games for groups of 2 to 4 players, from 14 years old, with a duration of about 120 minutes. To win and become the new Grand Mufti of the city, you must score more points than the others at the end of the game. One of the many charms of the game is its spectacular tower that we will assemble before starting the game. Players will throw octagonal cylinders (or keshis, representing various professionals and products) through the tower and some may stay inside and come out in later turns.
