Each player has 5 influence markers that they can place on buildings (representing presence and potential control). The first player to play all their influence markers ends the game. For each location, the player who controls that location earns the associated points. During the game, if a player has presence in a building, they can use the actions included in it by paying their cost. These effects include: expelling players from a location, obtaining new markers, and placing markers.
