This expansion requires the base game to play. Onitama is an elegant and simple abstract game that captures the essence of martial arts in 15-minute games. Players place their pieces with a random initial arrangement, and must move their pawns, eliminating the opponent's pawns, until they reach the other side of the board or eliminate the enemy's central pawn.
In this strategic game you must use your opponent's moves to your advantage, as in martial arts combat. If you manage to correctly anticipate your opponent's decisions, elaborate an astute strategy and make the right decisions, you will manage to win.
