Ragnarocks is a game for 2 players with simple and easy-to-learn rules that hides a deep and satisfying strategy that is further enhanced by adding mythological cards and their unique powers.
The rules of Ragnarocks are very simple. On your turn, you move one of your three vikings. They can move in any direction as far as you want, as long as it is an uninterrupted line (without passing through other vikings or runestones).
Next, you place a runestone that "proceeds" from your newly placed viking, following the same movement rules as the viking.
The game ends when all vikings are blocked by each other and have settled in their lands. Each viking earns points based on the size of the area completely surrounding them.
The Myth cards bring special abilities that change the game each time. Move places two runestones next to each other next to your viking, switch places with an opponent's viking if you are next to them, take a second turn if you connect 3 runestones in a row, etc...
Each power adds a new dimension, approach, and strategy to the game. And there are many Myth cards to choose from!
