It takes place in a fictional world vaguely similar to the American 19th century, in an old aristocratic city of streets shrouded in an eternal fog and plagued by specters, with a sinister magical Order that protects it from those specters and many secrets from the time of the founding of the city... and before.
The city of Raven is itself a great mystery whose roots extend to all its corners. A city full of dark places, the remains of an old Lodge that brought the curse to the city and to your family. They are ravens from the Other Side that watch over you behind the windows of your gloomy mansion.
Raven, in short, is a game of... Dark and Spooky Stories where you can live the old classic terror of cursed mansions, obsessions with spectres and curses from beyond the grave, all with Poe's poetic and sinister tone. Forgotten Mysteries and Cursed Ruins where you will discover the ancient and forgotten history of Raven, why the old Lodge was destroyed, what caused the curse of the fog, what the Order hides, what your family has to do with everything that has happened and happens, and what secrets the unknown mansion where you were born holds.
