Welcome to Sanctum, the Diablo-inspired board RPG in which you and a group of heroes must fight your way through hordes of creatures and overcome dangers of all kinds to confront the Lord of Demons. Many will try, but only one will win the glory. Will you be the one to restore the city of Sanctum to its splendor?
Sanctum is a board game with a direct inspiration from RPG video games. Each player controls one of four unique characters as they delve into the heart of the fallen city of Sanctum, increasing their skills and arsenals along the way to prepare for the final fight against the demon lord.
We're looking at a fast-paced game where we can even overlap turns to speed up the experience. The four characters all have unique skill sets, and you'll level up quickly, giving you frequent opportunities to choose new abilities. Every decision counts. Although the game is competitive, the goal is to destroy the demon lord, not each other. So player interaction is a race rather than a fight: who is farthest on the board? who will pick the team first? who will get the benefit of getting to the Demon Lord first? who will get to that group of blue demons everyone wants? who will unlock that achievement and claim the bonus?
The final battle with the Demon Lord is tough. Even surviving can be rewarding. But only the player with the most health at the end of the boss fight can claim the glory of his defeat.Choose a character and roll the dice to take on your enemies but be aware that a skill or item used in time will swing the fight in your favor.
