Star Realms Maximum Alert is a new expansion for the famous Star Realms saga of deck-building and star adventure games.
From the creators of the original game, Robert Dougherty and Darwin Kastle, the Maximum Alert expansion consists of 4 booster packs, each of which includes 12 cards.
Compatible with the base title and any of its expansions, it allows games for 2 to 4 players, ages 12 and up.
With the quadrant on the brink of war, your star kingdom is on high alert! To survive the coming conflict, you'll need to forge new alliances with prominent heroes, research new technology, and develop powerful ships and bases.
With the Heroes, Invasion, Embargo and Technology booster packs, you'll add 48 new cards that will bring a new dimension to Star Realms games. The 12 new heroes are: Overseer Tung, Bio-Captain Kalle, Bio-Warrior Storm, Bio-Droid Otto, Bio-Trust Freeman, Data Priest Kaufman, Doctor Clark, Supreme Admiral Shaner, Pact Director Scott, Pact Scout Sheldon, Strategist Thompson and Templar Brehmer.
Suitable to fight in any faction, they will add powerful abilities to your side. On the other hand, in the Invasion pack you will find new ships and bases, as well as dual ally abilities. The embargo envelope includes cards of ships and bases, but in this case at a lower cost for each card of the same faction in play. Finally, the technology envelope brings new abilities that can be activated each turn.
