Story Cubes Catastrophes is a hugely entertaining board game that sharpens your wits and sharpens your imagination. The images were designed by Rory O'Connor, an Irishman who specializes in creativity training and creative problem solving. They can be used to arrive at answers or decisions in an indirect and ingenious way.

Each die has six images or icons, a total of fifty-four ideas that mixed together can generate more than ten million combinations. Roll the dice and, starting with "Once upon a time...", make up a story involving the nine dice results. Replace three dice from your base game with dice from this expansion, mix them with other expansions, or do it all at once (remember the only rule is that there are no rules)!

Enjoy Story Cubes as a single player game, or as a party game where each player has to continue the story where the previous player left off. Award points as prizes for speed of improvisation, or inventiveness, or imagination...
