Suburbia is a tile-laying game in which each player attempts to build an economic engine and infrastructure that will initially be self-sufficient and eventually become profitable and foster population growth.
As your city grows, it will change both its income and reputation. As your income increases, you will have more cash available to buy better and more valuable buildings, such as an international airport or a high-rise office building. As your reputation increases, you will gain more and more population, and the player with the highest population at the end of the game will be the winner.
During the game, players compete for several unique objectives that offer additional population increase and the buildings available in each game vary, so you will never play the same game twice.
The second edition of Suburbia features, among other things, updated artwork, larger tiles than in the original game, a double-sided scoreboard and GameTrayz storage trays.
