Welcome to Daelore, a land engulfed in terror imposed by a swarm of evil creatures known as Ebon. You and your fellow Gearlocs are from Deepwood and have lost your homes, and many of your kind, at the hands of these ruthless beings. Their latest incursion has wreaked havoc in the heart of the forest, so the Gearloc Council has finally decided to counterattack!
Too Many Bones is breaking into a new genre: the dice-building RPG. This game takes everything you think you know about dice rolling and turns it upside down. Brimming with strategy, this fantasy-based RPG puts you in the shoes of a new race and takes you on an adventure to the northern territories to eradicate and defeat the growing enemy forces and, of course, the infamous "big bad" responsible.
Play as a team or solo in a cooperative campaign for 1 to 4 players or solo. With over 100 unique skill dice and between 4 and 7 classes to choose from, each battle is its own mini challenge. Your adventure will consist of 8-12 battles before reaching your final destination and facing one of the possible kings to win.
Along the way, you will face narrative decisions that will quickly make you weigh risk/reward, odds, and logic, with dice woven into every aspect! Your group will also face other decisions: when to rest, when to explore, or even which battles to pursue. Encounter cards offer fun plot twists and some comic relief, while setting the stage for your next battle.
