Tuareg: The Expansion was originally published by the German publisher Kosmos in 2016, and is now brought to you exclusively in Spanish by Devir.
It is an expansion designed by Andreas Steiger, the mind that brought the original game. What does this expansion offer us for this classic game for two players? Tuareg: The expansion puts the main focus on water, a new element that gives your tribe more flexibility when expanding.
Water functions as a wild card, thanks to which, for example, you can exchange two water tokens for any goods token. The game brings new Tribe cards, which provide a wider range of possibilities that can arise in the course of the game. Many of these new Tribe cards allow players to choose to spend gold or water tokens to facilitate constructions.
The Arena cards, another new feature, are changeable and mobile. They give great advantages to the Tuaregs, but intersections are lost. The last element is La Targia, a Tuareg woman, a special pawn (just like the assailant) but positive for the players. If you match her on a card you will get a favor, in the form of direct good or the possibility to get a card from the draw pile. New possibilities for a unique game!
