Star Wars Villainous is a reimplement of the original board game Disney Villainous but with the evil characters from the Star Wars world.

In Star Wars Villainous, each player takes control of one of these five Star Wars villains: Darth Vader, Asajj Ventress, Kylo Ren, Moff Gideon, or General Grievous.

On a turn, the active player moves their character to a different location on their player board, performs one or more of the visible actions in that space (often playing cards from their hand), and then refills their hand with four cards. The cards are allies, items, effects, and other things. They must use their cards to fulfill their unique winning condition.

Each character has their own villain deck, fate deck, and player board, so each game is completely different from the previous one. In addition to the unique power of their villain, players can also use their villain's "ambition" to take actions that enhance effects based on the use of the Force, strategic leadership, or the sheer luck of the villain.

The game also incorporates missions and specific rules for villains for iconic starships and transports from all corners of the "Star Wars" galaxy.
