Yamataï is a board game that takes us back to 3rd century Japan, a period in which the people of the eastern archipelago were in full expansion, and players will try to win the favor of Queen Himiko by exploring islands, building settlements and temples, recruiting famed specialists and increasing the kingdom's wealth. In Yamataï, players will compete to build palaces, toriis and their own buildings all over the map. The game includes ten numbered action tiles, where each one shows one or more colored ships and where most of them show a special action. You must shuffle these tiles, place them in a row and then reveal as many as the number of players plus one. During a turn, each player will choose a tile, get the ships on it from the pool and optionally buy or sell a ship. Once this is done, it will take them to the board. The map will have five entries and you must start from these points or place ships adjacent to the ones you already have on the board and if you do so, they must be of the same color. After placing the ships, you can claim the resources from the island you have touched with the new ships or build on an empty space. To build, the space must have colored ships around it that match one of the available building tiles. If you build a personal building that connects to other buildings you already have, you will get money equal to the number of buildings. After all players have played their turn, you will shuffle the action tiles and prepare them in the same way, turning over the ones needed to prepare for the next turn, where the order of play will be determined by the number of tiles the player has taken in his previous turn. Once the end of game conditions are met, such as no ships of a certain color or no specialists left, the round will end and the points scored for buildings obtained, specialists hired and money in hand will be counted, the one with the most will be the winner of the game
