Hidden Corp. consists of four adventures distributed in two books or modules, each of which has two of them. This is the first one. The world in which it takes place is somewhat "alternative", since in it historical characters can be intermingled with some of literary or cinematographic fiction.

The general idea is not very original, we know, because if you take any book or comic of the so-called pulp you find this kind of stories in most of its pages. Just think of the typical ones by Edward Rice Burroughs starring the adventure character John Carter, or even In the Heart of the Earth, The Land Forgotten by Time and The People of Lost Time, in those by H. G. Wells -The War of the Worlds-, The War of the Worlds, and The People of Lost Time. Wells -The War of the Worlds, for example- or in those of H. P. Lovecraft himself -Myths of Cthulhu, among others-. And, if we hurry, we should also mention the penny dreadfuls, popular and cheap serial publications written during the 19th century in the United Kingdom.

Apart from that, there are movies and TV series with similar themes, such as the Indiana Jones film series or The Mummy trilogy, the funny versions of Burroughs' novels, starring actor Doug McClure, or the Penny Dreadfuls series.

Leaving aside the issue of originality, the author has created the games and, as we said before, shortly after molded them with the rules of the Pulp Cthulhu game system, even taking the license that in the beginning the heroes belonged to the headquarters of the Vanguard Club, located in Arkham, Massachusetts. He made them with the explosive mixture that each module or adventure has: the already known cosmic horror, mysterious secret organizations, action in the search of biblical or historical objects and, of course, the Nazis.

So, if what you are looking for is what we have just explained, do not think twice: with this book you are going to have a good time, whether you referee or play. This campaign is designed to be played as if it were a typical adventure or action movie or book. If you liked the movies or books we have mentioned before, as well as the adventures of the thirties, forties and fifties of the last century, such as The Secret of the Incas or King Solomon's Mines, or the novels The Lost World, by Arthur Conan Doyle, The Time Machine, by H. G. Wells or some of Jules Verne, this is your game and this is your game. Pulp Cthulhu has all that and much more.

And without being exactly like them, this campaign perfectly combines that atmosphere of adventure, action, mystery, horror and terror, to make both the player and you, future Guardian, enjoy yourselves to the fullest.
