Set in the mid-60s, The Troubleshooters takes place in a world where jungles hide mysterious temples, valleys conceal forgotten civilizations, mad scientists build space stations, super spies use incredible gadgets, and secret organizations plot complex plans for global control. The characters will be forced to live on the edge all over the globe, from a race to find a treasure to helping someone reclaim their inheritance, to stopping spies stealing military secrets or thwarting the evil plans of Octopus agents. Either way, you and your friends will embark on marvelous adventures.
Players will be thrown headfirst into other people's problems and will have to collaborate to solve them. Most likely, on their own and at their own risk, without any government help. Instead, the adventures "happen" around them. With backgrounds as diverse as athletes, explorers, journalists, or scientists, the characters are good but far from being superheroes. The Troubleshooters will take them all over Europe and the rest of the world, encountering exotic jungles, bustling metropolises, inhospitable swamps, or simply a charming village in the mountains. There, terrible enemies take the form of spies, mafia members, wild beasts, villains with an eye patch, or worst of all... distant relatives!
