Humanity, with its irresponsible behavior, has exhausted the Earth's natural resources and has left it practically uninhabitable. In a burst of lucidity, and urged by the irreversible degradation of the Planet, the great powers have been forced to put aside their differences and share their knowledge to create the largest Spaceship ever built. Thus was born the Black Angel project. The Black Angel, the first Intergalactic Frigate in History, has the mission of transporting the genetic legacy of Humanity beyond the known worlds, in a journey that will probably last several thousand years. Its Crew will be formed only by Robots. Since no Nation is willing to entrust to another the creation of an AI (Artificial Intelligence) to control the Crew, an agreement has been reached: the Black Angel will be directed by several AIs, and the usefulness of each decision will be evaluated by means of a VP (Validation Process). At the end of this long and dangerous journey, once a habitable Planet has been found, the AI that has obtained the most VPs will have the task of supervising the new awakening of Humanity. All reports agree: the Black Angel is approaching Spes, a Planet that meets all the requirements to host the future development of the Human Race. Take advantage of the approach to strengthen the cordial relations you have been cultivating with the well-meaning Alien Species that populate the Galaxy and be wary of the fearsome Devastators, who will do everything in their power to prevent you from reaching Spes.
