In Khora you take the reins of government of a city-state of classical Greece and throughout nine rounds you will have to develop its politics, its commerce, its culture, its economy and its military power. Lead your people wisely in a unique Odyssey to score the highest number of glory points and win the laurels of victory.
In this strategy title, players must expand their city and manage the economy to achieve the highest number of victory points.
In Khora, players become leaders of a city-state in classical Greece. They will take command of Athens, Sparta, Thebes, Argos, Olympia, Miletus or Corinth in order to develop their full potential and dazzle the humanity of the ancient world. Over nine rounds, the contestants will have to decide how they will invest their actions (out of the 7 available) and thus determine the progress of their civilization.
will they develop new philosophical currents, will they explore the ends of the world with their hoplites, will they promote trade? Players will have to wisely manage their citizens, which will allow them to carry out actions; taxes, to collect drachmas; glory, obtained by completing achievements; and troops, essential for military actions and exploration.
Strategy will be fundamental to win, but a slight component of chance will also have to be considered. Each player will roll their dice (two, at the beginning, although this number can increase throughout the game) to determine which actions they will be able to carry out and the order. Each of the seven actions available in Khora has an assigned value, from 0 for philosophy to 6 for development. The higher the result obtained with the dice roll, the more options the player will have at their disposal, as they will be able to choose the one of the same value or lower.
