Scientific breakthroughs have led to the coexistence of humans and dinosaurs, giving rise to a most lucrative industry: dinosaur farming! Ranchers, like yourselves, have established large-scale ranches on a remote tropical island.
Dinosaurs are bred on this island and sold to the highest bidders for display in theme parks that are as impressive as they are popular. But raising these prehistoric beasts is hard and dangerous work.
Little Big Dinosaurs is a game by Scott Almes with illustrations by Nikoletta Vaszi and Benjamin Shulman designed to be played solo or with a group of up to 4 people, ages 14 and up, in games of about 45 minutes. With resource management and worker placement mechanics, players will compete over 6 rounds to score as many victory points as possible, either by breeding dinosaurs of different species, fulfilling public and private contracts or researching new technologies.
As usual in the "Little Big Ones..." family of games by the same author, this title includes a large number of components in very little space. Through 75 dinosaur pawns (15 of 5 different species), rancher and foreman pawns and several decks of cards, Little Big Dinosaurs manages to create a very entertaining game experience in which every type of player will find a challenge to suit him or her. This also includes solo mode lovers, since this title has an ingenious AI system managed by a deck of action cards that will be a real challenge.
Efficiently managing your workers, ranch space and resources is key to rise to victory. Will you be able to outperform your competitors and run the best dinosaur ranch?
